Common name: Crystal Red Shrimp Scientific name: Caridina cf. cantonensis 'Crystal Red' Size: 2.5 to 3 cm or 1 to 1.2 inch Water temperature: up to 25°C or 79°F Water parameters: pH 6.5 to 7.2 Origin: stable recessive mutation of the Caridina cf. cantonensis 'bee' High or low breeding form: high
(young are miniature versions of the adults. There is no planktonic larval stage.)

A difficult species to get breeding. Very sensitive to toxins, high TDS, and high temps.
I got these living still but it has been a challenge. Breeding has only just occurred for me so it will be a while before I have some available.
I would only recommend these too well experienced shrimp keepers/aquarists.
Same goes for the Black Diamond(Bee) shrimps to a degree.
